WydeVue Residential Energy Services is a building
science company providing you the most WYDE range of education and experience
in all home or commercial projects. The WydeVue mission is about the
“whole house” as a system. The founders, Stephen and Tricia
Carr, with WydeVue partners, Patrick and Gayla LaBreck, believe that
education is essential in giving home owners the freedom to make informed
decisions around the care and changes their homes might need to save
money and allow for comfortable living.
Stephen Carr: My
philosophy is to provide consistent and accurate information regarding
health, safety and energy saving to home owners and business owners.
Beginning with options and ending with quality work that gives the
customer the most “BANG” for their “BUCK”. I’ve
dedicated over 15 years in Fire Services and Energy Conservation
in Maine and New Hampshire. My involvement in the energy conservation
industry for the past 6 years has been with Community Action Programs,
Maine State Housing Authority, Maine PUC, and DEP offering low-income
homeowners federally-funded programs. Previously, I dedicated 9
years to fire service in Maine and New Hampshire; therefore, have
obtained education and experience in fire inspection, code compliance
and investigation.
Tricia Carr: Working
for 15 plus years in the world of Customer Relations (Sales, People
and Product Management) has allowed me to understand what the customer
needs and wants from a “service” business. Wyde Vue has
given me the opportunity to use my skills where they are better
suited for you as the customer. I’m able to offer you an honest
answer based on research that is specific to each household or business
regarding energy conservation. The bottom line is we all want the
same thing, “we want to live comfortably with the secure fact
that there is someone we can trust who will help us get what we
need and want. As well as, not just tell us what we want to hear,
but will give options if available and communicate all information,
so as a customer you can make a well informed decision.”
Patrick LaBreck:
I have been an educator in the Augusta School System for thirty-one
years dedicating myself to the education of middle and high school
students preparing each student for the future by having them look
outside the box. In this way, history does not have to repeat itself;
we can make our home, our time better. As a history teacher, I realize
that Maine has some of the oldest homes in the United States. We
are faced with the challenges that our many seasons bring to this
beautiful state and with conservation and the high costs that affect
daily living. I joined Stephen in this venture because I felt it
was an opportunity to again educate the public. I went back to school
and learned a new trade and became a certified energy auditor known
as BPI certified. My goal is to use these new skills once again
educating any and all.
